Marge: It’s hard to believe this used to be an internment camp.
Bart: Yo! Paella Man! Wing one up here!

This week I’m in Spain, so I’m Not Making That: Soccer Game Paella. It’s not that I’m opposed to making paella, which is officially the national dish of Spain. It’s more that I am opposed to winging it around in bowls in crowded soccer arenas / former internment camps. I think what I find most confusing about the paella in this recipe is that it looks really runny and seems to resemble something of a soup. My impression was that paella is more solid.
Interesting experiment I’m not going to try: prepare runny and not runny paella. Go the next soccer match in my area (hopefully between Mexico and Portugal) and then start winging around paella bowls to see if one holds up better than the other.
